Gentle ripples

            Among the reeds

                        Lapping, slapping

                                    Swaying, cradling

                                                Baby Moses

Waves

            Floating

                        Tumbling,

                                    Rumbling

                                                Onto shore

Water the matrix of life

Sustaining, supporting

            Teeming with nourishment

                        Billions and trillions

                                    Expressions of spirit

While our waterless friends

            Rocks, deserts, sand dunes, & mountains
